Product Description

There are two ships that have carried this name in The Adventures of Tintin and Milou:
in The Mysterious Star and The Unicorn Secret, a trawler owned by Captain Chester, met in Iceland; Chester then lends it to Haddock when he goes in search of the treasure of Rackham the Red;
in The Treasure of Rackham the Red, a mythical ship whose model is hung on the wall of Captain Haddock’s living room near the portrait of his ancestor.
Captain Chester’s Sirius is inspired by an armed trawler in Ostend. This trawler, built in 1938 by the shipyard “Boel et fils” in Thames, belonged to the «steam fishing company».
