A meticoulus copy of furniture that was onboard of US yachtmen ships in late 1900. The Vanderbilt, Roosevelt and Morgan visiting the Royal Yacht squadron clubhouse at Cowes in England, were surprised at the lack of locker rooms, showers and docks. Even a bar was absent. In contras the cabins and staterooms of the visiting American yachts were resplendent with grandeur. Fine interior upholstery and cabinet work were the rigueur.
Made out of maple, solid cherry and pine. French finish distressed, buffed ans waxed to an incredible softness and sheen.
